Skin Cancer

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States. Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma (nonmelanomas) are the most common types of skin cancer. Melanoma, while less common, is the most serious type of skin cancer. It can be life-threatening if not treated early.

Skin cancer screening and early detection of skin cancer can be lifesaving, especially if you have melanoma. Prompt diagnosis and treatment are critical in your path to recovery.

Our Premier Health cancer team of surgeons, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists follow best practices in the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma. They work together to thoroughly understand your cancer and develop a treatment plan of advanced cancer-fighting tools and technologies.

We’re committed to being with you through every phase of your skin cancer journey. This includes education and support services to help you and your loved ones cope with both the physical and emotional effects of cancer.
