Financial Support

Our commitment to care for you and your family at Premier Health includes working with you to reduce the stress of the financial impact of medical care. If you are struggling to meet your financial obligations because you are uninsured or underinsured, or you’ve experienced a recent job loss or other hardship, we have a team of people from multiple disciplines to assist you. Please rest assured that there are many different ways we can support you regarding financial issues.

Social workers are on site to provide counseling and support about financial issues, help people apply for Medicaid, and provide other financial assistance and resources. Our oncology nurse navigators also can provide assistance and support in connecting you with the financial counseling or resources you require.

Our financial counselors can refer you to facilities catering to the needs of patients without traditional insurance coverage. We are happy to answer questions about your bill and provide information about payment plans or financial assistance.

If you are uninsured or have minimal insurance, we can create a customized plan to help you meet your obligations when your physician’s office schedules you for services, tests, or surgeries at Premier Health facilities.

Your doctor also can assist you by contacting the corporate financial counselor team at (937) 499-9855(937) 499-9855 before scheduling takes place. This allows us to provide a more accurate estimate of costs.

We can meet you in the office or at the bedside, if necessary, to talk with you and help relieve the worry of the cost of your hospital visit.

Referrals To Local Clinics

Premier Health also partners with a number of local clinics designed to meet a variety of patient needs.

We work with five different facilities specializing in care for patients who are uninsured, insured through Medicaid, or are utilizing any of the Medicaid products. These facilities offer a variety of integrated services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. This includes medical care and behavioral health care.

One of these organizations, Five Rivers Health Centers, has earned the National Council on Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) designation as a Patient Centered Medical Home for the past three years. As a result, Five Rivers is able to offer same-day new patient appointments at many of its sites. Under a federal 340B Drug Pricing Program, the centers also can offer patient prescriptions from their own in-house pharmacies at significantly reduced rates.

Premier Health remains dedicated to meeting the needs of our patients and serving as a trusted resource for you, your family, and your physicians.
