Premier Health’s Trauma Services and EMS Center of Excellence help trauma professionals stay up-to-date on their knowledge and skills. Our trauma education programs include:

Trauma and Critical Care Update

Trauma and Critical Care Update is designed to provide current information on the challenges healthcare professionals encounter when caring for critically ill or injured patients.

Advanced Trauma Life Support Course

Developed by the American College of Surgeons, this workshop is offered twice a year and teaches physicians, residents, and advanced practice providers to assess and manage trauma cases through:

  • Practical lectures
  • Skill stations

Trauma Nurse Core Course

This 2-day course is offered multiple times a year and at partner hospitals by request. The course is for:

  • Nurses with little emergency experience who want knowledge and hands-on experience at psychomotor skill stations

All participants must be registered nurses. Attendees get continuing education hours.
