Application Process
We will attempt to have interviews for the 2023 residency year onsite if community levels for COVID-19 are not high in Montgomery County. We will offer an online option to those that may prefer to not be in person regardless of COVID-19.
Applicants for Miami Valley Hospital’s PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program should be a citizen of the United States, hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an AACP-accredited College of Pharmacy (or one in process of pursing an accreditation) and be eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio.
All programs utilize the ASHP supported Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) for all resident application submissions. The following items must be received by January 1 to complete this application:
- Letter of Intent
- Curriculum Vitae
- Copy of college transcript(s)
- Three letters of recommendation (utilizing PhORCAS format)
We highly recommend that one to two of the letters of recommendation be from a clinical rotation within the past 6 months.
