AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill

This unique equipment will enable you to walk or run at a lower percentage of your body weight, which reduces pain during rehabilitation. The treadmill allows you to gently “unweight” yourself with positive air pressure to reduce the effects of gravity on your body. This may enable you to regain, maintain, and improve your mobility while minimizing the stress on your body, particularly areas of your body that have been injured.

How the Anti-Gravity Treadmill Can Help You

Like many patients, you may find the treadmill helps you:

  • Rehabilitate lower extremity injuries with less pain and impact
  • Improve mobility, strength and safety for those with neurological conditions
  • Lose weight safely and exercise more intensely while unweighted
  • Train without pain and reduce the stress on joints and muscles
  • Recover effectively and with less pain after training or competition

The anti-gravity treadmill is especially popular with injured athletes because it reduces the risk of re-injury during rehabilitation, while also maintaining cardiovascular fitness.
