Patient Admission Guide
Welcome to Premier Health. Thank you for trusting us with your care. Our dedicated care team is here to support you every step of the way to help you towards wellness. Our goal is to provide an excellent experience during your stay is demonstrated by our key commitments:
We will communicate in a way you can understand.
Your care team will keep you informed and communicate with you often using our Communication Boards and Rounding The communication board posted in your room will be updated with your caregivers for the day, your goals, and other details about your care.
We will keep you safe.
We understand that being in a hospital can be overwhelming. Our goal is to create a safe and comforting environment that supports recovery, healing, and peace of mind. This may include tools such as bed alarms, nurse notification alarms (like IV pumps beeping), and others to ensure the safety of our patients and visitors.
We will be present.
Your caregivers will perform regular checks to ensure your needs are being met. During these check-ins, they will focus on addressing any pain, positioning, toileting, or other needs you may have. If you have any needs outside of these regular check-ins, please use the call light for help.
Our leaders are dedicated to making sure your stay goes beyond what you expected. During your stay, Nurse Leaders will check on you to make sure we are doing what we promised and committed to meeting your needs. If staff are not meeting your needs or you have a care concern, please ask to speak with unit leadership or reach out to Patient Relations.
We encourage you and your loved ones to be actively involved in your care. We will work together to help you move better, become more independent, and plan for when you are discharged from the hospital. We will work as a team to help you achieve your goals and succeed in your recovery.
Thank you for allowing us to care for you and your family.
