Our specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, neurointerventional, and neuropsychology are committed to offering patients access to advanced technologies, along with our consistent dedication to administer treatment with a personal and compassionate touch across Southwest Ohio.
Our skilled team of physicians takes a multi-disciplinary approach that allows us to deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient neurological care and support. The physicians at the Clinical Neuroscience Institute utilize advanced technology to successfully treat emergent conditions such as; stroke, head and spine trauma, brain tumors, brain aneurysms, epilepsy, headaches, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, neuromuscular disorders, and many more.
Our award winning, Comprehensive Stroke Center is the first, and only, Joint Commission certified comprehensive stroke center in the greater Dayton region. This designation is made possible only by the strength of our Neurocritical Care and Neurointerventional surgery teams. This collaboration serves all of Premier Health with award winning stroke care and again illustrates our dedication to excellent patient care and outcomes for the region.
We were excited to welcome our first Neurology residents in July 2014 and have since graduated our first neurology resident class in 2017. At all times, our program supports 16 neurologists in training who benefit from the academic experience and years of experience housed within the CNSI. In addition, we have a dynamic basic and clinical research collaboration between Premier Health and Wright State University and has lead to several publications in nationally recognized journals, presentations at national conferences, and scholarships which underscore our commitment to leading in the neurosciences.
Our patients receive thorough, research proven, comprehensive care using the latest in technology and telehealth. The CNSI support team of physician assistants, nurse practitioners, social workers, and registered nurses improve the health of all who they serve by coordinating care across all Premier Health facilities, which avoids long hospital stays and duplication of services to the convenience of our patients.
