Non-Surgical Treatments
We’ll explore non-surgical treatment options first to try to resolve your problem.
- Some problems, like kidney stones, typically can be treated without surgery. And urinary tract infections (UTI), for example, can be treated with antibiotics.
- Some problems are a result of other underlying health conditions. Erectile dysfunction, for example, can result from certain prescription medications, or can be caused by diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, or many other
physical ailments.

Surgical Treatments
If surgery is recommended, we’ll first consider minimally-invasive surgery or robotic surgery. These surgical procedures can have important benefits, including:

Minimally Invasive Kidney Stone Removal And Enlarged Prostate Surgery
Premier Health and Dayton Physicians Network are the first in the world to implement the new MOSES 2.0 Pulse 120H holmium laser for minimally invasive kidney stone removal and enlarged prostate surgery.
With MOSES 2.0, larger kidney stones can be removed using a minimally invasive procedure. Stone removal is exceptionally precise, thorough, and fast. Patients can go home the same day.
For patients with enlarged prostate, also called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), HoLEP (holmium laser enucleation of the prostate) removes blockages of urine flow with no incisions. Patients can go home from the hospital the same day, without a catheter. HoLEP is supported by the most recent American Urological Association guidelines on BPH.
