Bishop Fenwick High School Sports Medicine Team
Meet the Sports Medicine Team at Bishop Fenwick High School.
Amy Anders, MS, AT, CSCS
Amy Anders earned her undergraduate degree from Missouri State University in biology. She completed graduate work at the University of Southern Mississippi in exercise science. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Amy joined Premier Health in 1997. Her interests include watching her Kansas City sports teams – the Royals, the Chiefs and Sporting KC – as well as hiking, biking and reading. Amy learned about athletic training after her own sports-related injury. “When I was in high school, athletic trainers were not really heard of. We had a nurse who came out to the football games and that was all. When I suffered a knee injury, I had to do off-site physical therapy so that I could return to my sport. I didn’t learn what an athletic trainer was until almost three years later in college.”
