Appointment/Procedure Preparation

• Initial visit: If you are coming for your first visit, keep in mind that it could take up to one hour depending on the doctor or therapist you are seeing.
• Follow-up visit: Follow-up appointments vary in time, also depending on the doctor or therapist. These appointments are scheduled for either 15 or 30 minutes. Follow-up appointments with the psychologist or therapist are typically scheduled in one-hour sessions, with 45 to 50 minutes schedule for patient-psychologist/therapist interaction.
• Psychological testing: Patients coming to our office for psychological testing will be scheduled for an initial appointment to determine what type of testing is needed, and to obtain the necessary background and clinical information. When a patient is scheduled for testing, the appointment length could be one hour or two hours depending on what test is done. More than one testing appointment might be needed. Once a psychologist has the results of the testing, another appointment will be made to review the results.

We ask new patients to arrive 15 minutes prior to their initial appointment to complete any of the necessary forms from the list below:
