From Korean Plank Performer to Family Medicine Provider, Meet Daniel Biddinger

What is your clinical specialty? Family Practice, heading into ENT.

Where did you go to school? Kettering College for my Bachelor of Science in nursing, and Cedarville University for my Master of Science in nursing.

What brought you to Premier Health? I participated in clinical rotations with Dr. Ordway at Springboro Family Medicine when I was in school and enjoyed being with Premier Health.

Why did you choose medicine as a career? I love interacting with people and getting to know them. I enjoy caring for others. If I can make the smallest impact in someone’s life, it’s worth it for me.

Who are the people who influenced and/or mentored you? My wife. A friend and pastor of mine, Jason. Many of the professors and physicians who coached and taught me through school.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you? I used to perform on what is called a “Korean Plank,” which is an acrobatic apparatus where you fly 20-30 feet up in the air and do flips.

Where is your hometown? Berrien Springs, MI

What, if any, sports team(s) do you cheer for? Go, Detroit Lions!

What is the last book you read? “Finding God’s Life for my Will” by Mike Donehey

What is your favorite song in your playlist? “Sunday," by Ben Rector

What is your favorite food? Impossible to choose just one. The top three are between Thai, Mexican and Italian.

What is your favorite hobby? Playing music.

What is your favorite animal, and why? Dogs, no matter what they love you and are always happy to see you.

Where is your favorite vacation spot, and why? Can’t beat Oahu, Hawaii's north shore.

Describe something (a thing, person, place, experience, etc.) for which you are especially thankful: Definitely my wife. Through all the changes, transitions, school, work, and life in general, she has always been so supportive of me and only wishes to see me succeed.
