Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

If you struggle with chronic depression, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, self-destructive behaviors, or suicidal thoughts, our dialectical behavioral therapy skills training group meets once a week at Miami Valley Hospital to enhance your coping skills.

You’ll learn skills like:

  • Mindfulness
  • Accepting responsibility for your actions
  • Building healthy relationships
  • Regulating emotions
  • Distress tolerance to manage out-of-control emotions in stressful situations.

Studies have shown these techniques promote successful relationships, a more positive outlook, and more hope for the future.

To participate, you must have a primary therapist you see for issues outside the skills-building therapy.
