How is arthritis of the hip diagnosed?

In most cases arthritis of the hip can be diagnosed with a simple X-ray in the office that will show us how much of the joint space is remaining in your hip.  In cases where the X-ray doesn't definitively find our diagnosis occasionally we need to obtain an MRI or a joint injection into the hip to confirm that your hip is the primary source of your pain.
