Sports that we see the most common overuse injuries tend to be sports, like in the springtime we see a lot of things in track and field, running type overuse injuries, shin splints, patellar tendinitis, things of that nature, Achilles tendinitis. We also see in the springtime, we see with baseball, softball, we see a lot of biceps tendinitis, rotator cuff tendinitis. More shoulder type overuse injuries, but we do have some of that stuff that creeps into the fall also, with our cross country athletes, with the running type injuries. A lot of quarterbacks, we can see a lot of shoulder stuff with that.
Then, in the winter, we see quite a few overuse injuries. More with the deconditioned wrestlers, lower leg type overuse stuff. Then sometimes you see in basketball players, just an overuse just from a lot of overhead shooting, and things of that nature.
The lower leg overuse injuries we see a lot of in track and field, those kind of athletes. We also see them in the fall a lot, in cross country too.
