Austin Schemrich - Crossing the Graduation Line

All eyes were on Teays Valley High School graduate Austin Schemrich, a four‑year cum laude student, as he stood up and walked across the graduation stage with the help of an Ekso Bionics exoskeleton, achieving a goal he had worked hard to achieve.

With support from Premier Health Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine on Brown Street and physical therapists Chris Colatruglio, PT, DPT, and Jim Christoffel, PT, DPT, NCS, Austin showed what determination, innovation, and expert care can make possible.
