There are many important components of a first aid kit. The typical first aid kit will include things like bandages, tweezers, alcohol wipes. But from my perspective, I feel that some even more potentially useful items are medications, such as Diphenhydramine which can treat rashes and allergy symptoms. Acetaminophen, which can treat pain and inflammation at times. Also, a less used medication called petroleum jelly, is very useful. It can slow bleeding, it can treat some rashes, and its a really handy thing to have on hand. Its something to include in a first aid kit that usually is not included to begin with.
