Is there a danger that pelvic organ prolapse is an indicator of something else?

With pelvic organ prolapse, it’s not an indication of other problems going on usually. There’s no underlying cancer that causes it, There’s, doesn’t mean that there’s a sign of something else happening, in and of itself. It’s just related to the pelvic floor and the symptoms as woman’s having with it. There are some urinary difficulties that can occur with it. Whether it be leakage or an inability to empty, but again that just relates to the pelvic organs falling. That’s a common concern for a lot of women.
