The best candidate for ACL surgery would be an active individual who has a chief complaint of instability. That would be a story of a knee giving way. Now, it could be an athlete whose activity level suggests that they're going to have an instability problem in the future. In that case, we might be looking at high school soccer player or a college football player or even a 40-year-old active skier who has an active lifestyle planned for them. Our data suggests that those patients will fail poorly with an ACL deficiency.
