In looking for cardiac disease on our screening protocols, we're trying to pick up a number of things. We're looking for any kind of structural heart disease such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy that may cause heart murmurs or lead to sudden cardiac arrest. That's the biggest thing we're trying to prevent is sudden cardiac arrest or sudden cardiac death in athletes. There's a number of different disease entities that can cause that. Some of them being structural causes like the hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Some of them are genetic causes, like marfan syndrome that causes enlargement of the heart. Or there's other cardiac anomalies with the blood vessels, as well as the abnormal electric activity in the heart.
