"My dietetic internship provided me with a wide range of experiences that helped prepare me for both the RD exam and my career as a Registered Dietitian. Working in multiple professional settings strengthened my clinical knowledge, communication skills, and ability to apply nutrition concepts in real-world situations. The guidance and support I received from my preceptors and program faculty helped me build confidence and develop the adaptability needed to succeed across different areas of dietetics. Since completing the program, I have earned my RD credential and now work as a foodservice consultant with the Southwestern Ohio Education Purchasing Council, supporting K–12 school nutrition programs throughout the region. Now, I am the Food Service Director at a 150-bed facility within 6 months of graduation.
